About Us
We are a "come as you are" group of believers. That phrase has meaning on two levels. The first level, the more obvious, refers to our outward appearance. Casual dress is accepted and is the norm.
The second meaning refers to your relationship with God. You and Jesus may be the best of friends or you may not know Him at all. Or you may be struggling with your faith or the lack of it. Or maybe you have some kind of "sin" that you feel ashamed about and not sure what to do.
At SGCP we accept people as they are, as you are. We do not judge but accept people on their journey. We realize we are all beggars searching for bread. We are simply beggars that have found bread and are wanting to share with others.
So come as you are, you will be greeted with acceptance and understanding.

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
